DENVER (July 27) – Karen Stoffer and the GEICO Powersports Suzuki crew didn't take home the Wally at the Mopar Mile-High Nationals, but their efforts were rewarded nonetheless.

Stoffer's team, which had a season-best runner-up finish at the event, won the Full Throttle Hard-Working Crew Award.

"This gives us so much confidence, all of us on this team, including the rider, to have a result like this,” Stoffer said. “It shows us we have the power, that we know how to setup the bike and tune it for good runs. It's just a feel good deal all the way around."

For its efforts, the GEICO Powersports Suzuki crew gets a check for $750, along with the opportunity to be named the overall NHRA Full Throttle Hard-Working Crew Award winner as determined by fan vote on NHRA.com at the end of the season.

Stoffer is ninth in the NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle standings with one race to go – the August 13-15 Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals – before the start of the Countdown to the Championship.

Stoffer went on to extend special thanks to all of the 2010 sponsors and supporters.
